Archive Study
Call Me Miss Ives is an early demi-couture archive project shaped by gothic Victorian imagery, ornamental textiles and decorative surface work.
The project combines brocade fabrics, lamé threads, patterned linens, knitwear experimentation and faux-fur applications, building a dark romantic language between historical references and contemporary femininity.
The silhouettes move between elegance and theatrical tension, using elongated proportions, rich surfaces and crafted details to create a more intimate and mysterious archive world.

Now placed within the archive, Call Me Miss Ives remains an early trace of my interest in gothic surface language, demi-couture volume and knitwear experimentation.
The project was entirely hand-drawn and hand-coloured, before digital tools became part of my process, making the illustrations themselves an important part of its archival value.
