World Needs Some Cold is a Fall/Winter RTW project with an outerwear focus.
The collection explores the idea of iconic cold-weather garments, combining protection, functionality and strong visual impact through material contrasts, oversized volumes, knitwear inserts and layered surfaces.
Developed around a reflection on climate change and environmental instability, the project imagines a colder winter wardrobe where outerwear becomes both protective and expressive.

Cold becomes both a threat and a design language: garments are built as protective layers, combining technical surfaces, soft textures, transparent elements and sculptural volumes.
The palette combines icy pastels, muted greens, cold blues, soft pinks, deep burgundy and black.
Pale tones bring lightness and transparency, while darker greens, burgundy and black create depth, protection and contrast.
The collection is built around decisive but elegant material contrasts.
Opaque surfaces are combined with eco-fur, glossy coated nylon with transparent georgette, and faux leather with chunky knitwear.
Knitwear is interpreted mainly through heavy-gauge structures, with cables and bobble stitches used as textural and protective elements.

Long puffers, cape-like layers, faux-leather coats, padded biker jackets, kimono volumes and detachable elements are developed to create garments that feel functional, protective and visually strong.

A long down puffer look built around protection, volume and layered outerwear function.
The puffer is developed in nylon with down padding, a double-slider metal zip, high collar and ribbed cuffs. The lower part opens into a skirt-like construction with diamond-quilted panels, creating volume and movement.
The look is completed with a matte nylon cape layer, featuring a sail collar, metal zip, front pocket and wide sleeves with double rotated flounces.

A long faux-leather coat where outerwear construction is softened and enriched through chunky knitwear inserts.
The coat is developed in faux leather with a soft fit that expands toward the hem. Covered snap buttons, applied pockets and a high belt define the construction.
Pure wool knit inserts in heavy gauge create a contrast with the faux-leather surface. The stitch direction combines cables and bobble stitches, with full knit sleeves and structured finishing.

A full knitwear set translating cold-weather protection into a cape and shorts construction.
The set is developed in a wool and cashmere blend, using heavy-gauge continuous cable stitch across both garments.
The cape is designed as a pull-on piece with internal synthetic down padding, turning knitwear into a protective outer layer. The shorts are lined, not padded, and finished with an internal waistband elastic for comfort and wearability.

A kimono-volume puffer where padding, softness and embroidery create an elevated outerwear expression.
The garment is developed as a down puffer with a generous kimono volume, wide padded collar and side-shifted fastening.
The fit is soft and ample, controlled by a waist belt. The sleeves are wide, with asymmetrical embroidery and an internal elastic cuff at the wrist designed to protect from the cold.
Large welt pockets complete the garment.
